Uncovering the Invisible

‘A Conversation Between Trees’ connects trees in different environments, using sensors connected to mobile phones that visualise and interpret the sensor data as part of a new locative artwork. The project aims to create a unique collaborative interaction betweeen artists, scientists, audience and location. In a playful conversation about forest environments, we are working alongside a senior climate scientist at the MET office, botanists and rangers in order to build a wider understanding of climate science and forest ecology to audiences through this dialogue.

Following on from the initial research developed as part of previous research project, the Dark Forest, we are developing a new visualisation tool and adaptable site specific installation artwork to tour and to three venues for exhibition.
